What Benefits should I Offer my Nanny?
In addition to our minimum benefits (fair wages paid legally with taxes withheld and matched FICA and social security taxes, guaranteed hours, paid sick leave, one week of paid vacation, paid holidays, mileage reimbursement and overtime pay for hours worked over 40), additional benefits can include but are not limited to healthcare stipends, gym memberships and additional vacation hours.
-
What are Guaranteed Hours?
Guaranteed Hours are a childcare industry standard. The policy applies to hours you decide not to use your nanny for all of their regular hours. The hours cannot be banked to be made up at a later time. Just as a family pays for a daycare spot whether or not the child attends everyday, guaranteed hours ensures your nanny is available for the hours you reserve them. Guaranteed Hours are mutually beneficial and greatly contribute to employee satisfaction.
